I was very disappointed at first, but then I realized 2 things.
1. I won't have a video as popular as ep.5 of Reign of Kings for a long time (if ever), so i'd better stop rooting for that. It'd be nice but probably not going to happen.
2. YouTube videos have a 1-day view range.
After then considering PewDiePie and Cryaotic I realized that videos will usually get a range on the first day then gradually increase in views over time.
That means for myself rather than waiting for a video to get more views, I should post another. (Should have realized this earlier) but what I've come to realize is that a video on its first day will get a range of views and then all extra views are just bonus. And that the view count will generally be similar to what it is on day 1 as it is 5 days later.
I've decided based on my recent videos that my view range for Day #1 is 35~50. I then average about 1~3 views every day after.
My most popular video (Reign of Kings ep.5) got 30 day 1. Then day 2 50, then day 3 80. Then it hit 110 (Was beyond exited). I then stopped checking for about 3 days and it was over 500 (Needless to say I was beyond astonished). It then increased by 100/day (for about 4 days). Then it was 80/day, then 40/day, and now it seems to get between 5 and 40 a day. (There's so far no pattern as to why it gets more some days than others).
So in conclusion, post every other day at minimum and expect a video to get its most views on day 1. Any views after that are bonuses.
